We took a Tuktuk from the hotel at an agreed price of $15 for the day. Our drivers name was Vichhay and he spoke quite a bit of English.




Our first stop was the well known Angkor Wat, the site of the worlds largest religious building, a multitude of temples and a vast long abandoned walled city.







It is the national symbol of Khmer civilisation and has been in constant use ever since it was built.







Today it is well known for the film Tomb Raider where Angelina Jolie became famous.
Hello to you very brave couple. You will have some stories to tell us all on your return. You seem to be enjoying yourselves and I expect it is all so wonderful to see these unusual buildings and temples etc.
Hope you are both keeping well and it is good to know that you have some friends with you and also making new friends too. We have been having a lot of rain, places in Devon and Somerset with terrible flooding and Wymeswold was mentioned on the East Midlands news that Brook Street was flooded on
